To prepare your teeth for the veneer process, our dentist will remove a small amount of enamel from the front of each tooth that will receive the veneer. This is necessary because veneers are thicker than natural teeth and require space to fit correctly. Next, our dentist will take an impression of your teeth and send it to the lab where your veneers will be created. While your permanent veneers are being made, you will be fitted with temporary ones to wear in the meantime. Once your permanent veneers are ready, you will return to the dentist to have them placed.
After placement, our dentist will ensure the fit is correct, and the color matches your other teeth. They will bond them in place with a special cement if everything looks good. Once they are secure, they will polish them so they look and feel natural.
